Between August 25th and September 3rd, 2017 the city of Worcester, Massachusetts was treated to POW! WOW!, an international mural festival that seeks to enliven communities through large scale murals, artist talks, exhibitions, concerts and more.

POW! WOW! Worcester’s 2017 line-up included 50 artists from around the world: AIIK (123 Klan), Alex Hayes, Apexer, Avo, Becky Cloonan, Big Teeff, Brian Butler, Caratoes, Christopher Konecki, CLEO (123 Klan), CrashOne, Dasic Fernandez, Denial, Drew Merritt, Eamon Gillen, Earth Crusher, Ferdinand, Five 8, Ghostbeard, Greg Mike, Ivan Roque, Joe Iurato, Josie Morway, JPO, Julia Yubaba, Kai Griffiths, Kelly Towles, Key Detail, Keya Tama, Kimchi Juice, Klor (123 Klan), Kristin Farr, Lucas Aoki, Michal Maka, Nicky Davis, Nosego, Pamela Stolz, Patch Whisky, Pichi, Ricardo Gonzalez, Ryan Gardell, Scien (123 Klan), Scott Boilard, Scott Listfield, Scott Walker, The Soph, Stash and Tom Bob.

“I am so proud of the transformational impact POW WOW! Worcester has had on our city. For the ten days of POW WOW Worcester we were also able to bring people together to celebrate different kinds of art and culture. Moving forward, the murals, including more than 14 murals covering nearly every wall at one school, will have a lasting impact on Worcester and its residents,” said POW WOW! Worcester Director Jessica Walsh. “I am so grateful to members of the community who came out to be a part of this, the artists who have left a piece of themselves in the city, as well as our sponsors who recognized the importance of public art and everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality.”
