I have a question about using someone else’s tag

My uncle, Shawn, passed away in 2014 when I was in 3rd grade. He used the tag name “Akayo” or “Ako” or some variation of it. I’ve been kinda confused for a while and was wondering if it would be ok for me to use that tag. I have no friends or adults around me that do graffiti so this is the best place for me to ask. I’m sorry if this is a weird question but If anyone who knew him would be able to help me or just anyone could give their opinion that would be helpful. Thank you
